Remember the revolutionary martyrs and promote the spirit of patriotism.

On the afternoon of April 3, the company’s Party Committee and Youth League General Branch organized young League members to visit Hejiashan to carry out a themed Youth Day activity titled “Remembering Revolutionary Martyrs and Promoting Patriotic Spirit.” Through paying respects at the Memorial Park for the Heroes of the East China Guerrilla Corps and touring the Exhibition Hall of Martyrs of the East China Guerrilla Corps, participants deeply commemorated and honored the noble aspirations of the revolutionary martyrs of the “East Corps,” who sacrificed their lives and shed their blood for the cause, while also promoting the spirit of patriotism.

Communist Youth League members, holding fresh flowers in their hands, climbed along the mountain path that symbolizes the Long March of the Red Army, ascending to the summit of Hejia Mountain. There, they gathered at the “East General Headquarters” Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs, facing the “Monument to the Revolutionary Martyrs of the East China Guerrilla Corps,” observing a moment of silent mourning, bowing deeply, and offering flowers one by one.

Under the oath-taking leadership of Comrade Yang Siyu, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the company, the Young Communist League members solemnly took their oath before the Monument to the Martyrs.

The Young Communist League members used their own cleaning tools to carefully sweep away dust from the memorial, as well as debris and fallen leaves from the surrounding area.

The Communist Youth League members visited the Memorial Hall of Martyrs of the East China Guerrilla Corps, gaining a deeper understanding of the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs and revisiting those turbulent years of revolutionary struggle. As they viewed the exhibits and exchanged thoughts, the members were profoundly moved by the fearless spirit of courage, tenacity, and unyielding perseverance displayed by the martyrs.

After the event concluded, the Young Communist League members who had participated in the themed activities returned to the company and held a patriotic League class titled “Remembering the Martyrs, Paying Homage to Heroes.” Each member took the floor to share their thoughts, relate them to real-life experiences, and discuss how to carry forward the spirit of heroic martyrs and pass on the red gene.

This event greatly inspired the League members to commemorate and reflect on the revolutionary martyrs. Although the heroes are gone, their spirit endures. It also enabled the members to gain a deeper understanding of how hard-won today’s happy life is, effectively enhancing the sense of mission and responsibility among young League members and deeply instilling a strong sense of patriotism.
