On the afternoon of April 3rd, the company’s Party committee and General branch of the Communist Youth League organized members to go to Hejia Mountain for the thematic activity of “Cherishing the Memory of Revolutionary Martyrs and Promoting Patriotism”. They upheld the spirit of patriotism by paying a visit to the Memorial Park of the East China Sea Guerrilla Corps and touring the exhibition hall dedicated to the martyrs, in order to deeply commemorate and honor the legacy of the revolutionary martyrs who made great sacrifices for their cause.

The members of the Communist Youth League, holding flowers, ascended the mountain road symbolizing the Red Army’s Long March. Upon reaching the summit of Hejia Mountain, they arrived at the Heroes and Martyrs Monument square where they collectively observed a moment of silence in front of the “East China Sea Guerrilla Corps Revolutionary Martyrs Monument”, bowed, and presented flowers in succession.

Under the leadership of Comrade Yang Siyu from our company, secretary of the Communist Youth League, the members solemnly swore their oath in front of the martyrs’ monument. 

They utilized their own cleaning tools to meticulously remove dust, debris, and fallen leaves from the monument.

The members of the Communist Youth League visited the martyrs’ exhibition hall of the East China Sea Guerrilla Corps in order to gain a deeper understanding of the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs and to reflect on the years of revolutionary struggle amidst storm and thunder. During the visit, they engaged in thoughtful communication while observing, and were deeply moved by the brave, tenacious, and indomitable spirit exhibited by the martyrs.

After the event, the Communist Youth League organized members who participated in the thematic activities to return to the company and conduct a patriotic themed class on “Cherishing the Memory of Martyrs and Paying Tribute to Heroes”. During this session, each member had an opportunity to speak, exchange their feelings, relate their experiences to actual situations, and share strategies for perpetuating the spirit of heroism and passing on the tradition of revolution.

This activity has greatly inspired the members to cherish the memory of the revolutionary martyrs. Although heroes were no longer with us, their spirit lives on. This realization further enhances the appreciation for today’s hard-won happiness and effectively improves the sense of mission and responsibility among our youth. It deeply instills a sense of patriotism within our members.
