Our company’s first LNG repair vessel for overseas markets, the “Acacia,” has successfully berthed at Berth No. 1.

At 1:28 p.m. on August 13, the LNG vessel K.ACACIA, operated by South Korea’s KLCSM, successfully berthed at Berth No. 1—this marked the first overseas LNG vessel our company has welcomed since its establishment.
The vessel “Acacia” is a membrane-type LNG carrier, 277 meters in length and 43 meters in width, with an age exceeding 20 years and a liquid cargo capacity of 135,000 cubic meters.
According to reports, the vessel will undergo cargo tank inspections at our company, along with the disassembly and inspection of multiple pieces of equipment, including cargo valves, cargo pumps, spray pumps, high‑load compressors, low‑load compressors, and high‑ and low‑pressure separators. The entire project is expected to take 28 days.
Because LNG vessels have far stricter safety and regulatory requirements than other types of ships, this project presents significant repair challenges and high standards. Our company attaches great importance to this project and has adopted a scientifically coordinated approach: the chief management team has proactively developed a comprehensive and detailed construction plan to ensure that the repair work is carried out safely, on time, and to a high standard.
The “Acacia” is the first overseas LNG vessel repair project successfully undertaken by our company, providing valuable experience for expanding this type of overseas business and laying a solid foundation for subsequently undertaking the repair of more overseas LNG and other new energy vessels.
