In order to further strengthen the company's ability to handle fires during the repair of hazardous chemical ships, continuously strengthen the concept of safe production, improve the fire emergency response to LPG/LNG ships, and enhance the safety awareness of all employees, the company joined hands with Putuo District, Zhoushan City Liuheng Fire Station organized and carried out the actual fire fighting emergency rescue exercise of the "Shengshi Harmony" LPG carrier.

   "Shengshi Harmony" is an LPG carrier under repair. At 10:45 am, the engine room of "Shengshi Harmony" at Berth 11 caught fire. After receiving the alarm, the company's firefighters and Liuheng fire station firefighters arrived at the scene, strictly in accordance with the requirements for epidemic prevention and control, set up vigilance at the rescue site and implemented on-site protection requirements. After receiving the notice, the captain immediately cut off the engine room power supply, sounded the alarm, and immediately evacuated the ship's construction personnel from the emergency channel to the emergency assembly point. In order to prevent the fire from further developing and expanding, the on-site commander immediately ordered the fire fighting team to set out two water cannons from the side of the ship while suppressing the fire while cooling and protecting the liquefied gas tanks on the ship. At the same time, rescuers boarded the ship to rescue the trapped people under the cover of two water guns. After 20 minutes, all the trapped persons were rescued, the fire was effectively controlled, and the actual emergency rescue exercise was successfully completed. After the exercise, the on-site commander commented on the actual combat exercise, pointed out the shortcomings in the exercise, and put forward corresponding rectification opinions and requirements.

   Through this LPG ship emergency rescue practice, it not only effectively improved the company's awareness of fire safety, but also exercised the emergency response capabilities of various departments/work areas, outsourcing employees, ships, crews, etc., and also helped develop LNG ships in the future. Valuable experience has been accumulated during the safety drill for repairs.
