On the morning of December 17, 2020, Fang Wei, Vice Mayor of Zhoushan City, and his delegation visited our company to conduct research and provide guidance on epidemic prevention and control efforts. Leaders from the Municipal Health Commission, the Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the Municipal Political and Legal Committee, and the Liuheng Management Committee accompanied the visit. Chairman Zhou Yaguo, Deputy General Manager Zhou Boting, Assistant General Manager Wang Junting, and other leaders warmly received the Vice Mayor and his delegation and accompanied them on an on-site inspection.

Vice Mayor Fang Wei and his delegation visited the production site to inspect the implementation of epidemic prevention measures at Berths No. 3 and No. 5. They conducted on-site inspections of the regional alarm system and the surveillance coverage at the ship boarding points, and thoroughly inquired about the vaccination status of employees within the plant, as well as the methods used for transporting and disposing of domestic waste and medical waste from ships.

Chairman Zhou Yaguo reported to Vice Mayor Fang Wei on the implementation of our company’s recent routine COVID-19 prevention and control measures. We have designated inspection personnel to oversee employees’ compliance with mask-wearing protocols, conducted comprehensive nucleic acid testing for crew members aboard inbound vessels, and ensured that all company employees receive both vaccination and nucleic acid testing. Our company has achieved vaccination rates of 84.7% and nucleic acid testing rates of 100% among all staff.

Vice Mayor Fang Wei expressed his appreciation for our company’s epidemic prevention and control measures and their implementation, and urged the enterprise to continue prioritizing epidemic prevention and control efforts, enhance its safety awareness, fully implement “technology-based” controls as required, and carry out production operations in a standardized, safe, and orderly manner.
