The Company Party Committee and Trade Union Launch a Summer Cool‑Down Campaign.


Facing the severe challenges posed by the scorching summer sun and sweltering heat since the onset of summer, the dedicated and hardworking employees of Xinya have faithfully fulfilled their duties, striving to be at the forefront of ship repair operations and ensuring that repaired vessels are delivered on schedule. At the same time, the health of frontline workers battling through ship repairs has always been a top priority for the company’s leadership. To ensure the safety of frontline staff and maintain safe production under sustained high temperatures, on the morning of July 23, the Company Party Committee and the Trade Union jointly launched a “Fight the Heat, Resist the Scorching Summer, Guarantee Ship Delivery” cooling‑delivery initiative. Company General Manager Xia Songkang, along with other members of the headquarters leadership team, the head of the Trade Union, and heads of relevant departments, took part in the cooling‑delivery event.

“Dear colleagues, you’ve worked so hard…” General Manager Xia Songkang and other headquarters leaders personally handed out cool gift packages to frontline employees, fully recognizing their dedicated spirit in steadfastly holding the line on ship repair under extreme heat, ensuring that repair milestones were met with both quality and quantity. They expressed gratitude for the employees’ hard work and urged all staff—and internal support workers engaged in outdoor operations—to take proper precautions against the heat, always keep safety top of mind, and arrange work schedules wisely, striving tirelessly to achieve the company’s annual business and production goals.

 

Each heartfelt greeting, each crate of peaches, each can of Red Bull, and each refreshing gift pack embodies the company’s unwavering commitment to “putting people first” and its deep, caring concern for everyone.

 

The “Cooling Delivery” initiative is an effective measure adopted by the company as part of its comprehensive heat prevention and cooling efforts. It demonstrates the company’s longstanding care and concern for its employees and internal support staff, while genuinely bringing the company’s heartfelt attention to the front lines of production. This initiative offers a touch of comfort and a breath of cool relief to frontline workers and internal support staff who are laboring under the scorching summer sun, playing a positive role in ensuring safe production even in high‑temperature conditions.

Previously, the company had continuously disseminated heat‑prevention knowledge to all employees through departmental morning meetings, the large screens in the factory area, and the rolling LED displays in the cafeteria, thereby enhancing employees’ awareness of protective measures. In addition, the company has provided a “cooling package” to all factory employees by offering watermelons, herbal tea, and free mung bean soup in the cafeteria.
