After 30 days of continuous struggle, the company successfully completed the special repair work of LNG vessel "Lucky Leader" and left berth No.1 on the afternoon of August 25 and set sail smoothly. This is the second LNG vessel repaired by the company with high quality after the first repair project of thin film LNG vessel in 2021, and also the first MOSS type LNG vessel repaired and completed.

Confidence comes from certainty, strength makes brand. "Lucky Leader" is another LNG ship of different types after the perfect completion of the repair of the first film type LNG ship of the company. The ship is a large tonnage MOSS type LNG transport special ship of Singaporean nationality, more than 20 years old, 290 meters long and with a liquid cargo tank capacity of 137,000 cubic meters.

This five-year special inspection and repair project mainly includes CAP inspection, disassembly and overhaul of submerged liquid pump, overhaul of cryogenic valve parts, replacement of cryogenic pipeline and insulation layer, overhaul of cargo compressor, inspection and calibration of liquid cargo enclosure system, overhaul of high and low pressure turbine propellers, overhaul of boiler turbine feed pump, overhaul of turbine generator, tube replacement of boiler superheater, overhaul of boiler high pressure and high temperature valve parts, renovation of ballast water system and a lot of routine repairs. and other engineering projects.

In order to ensure the safe, efficient and high-quality completion of the repair task of the vessel, the company team treated this MOSS-type LNG vessel with the same high standard as the first repair of thin-film LNG vessels, planned the construction cycle in detail, did a good job of professional training for the management personnel and construction team at all levels, and actively implemented various safety management measures. Under the premise of guaranteeing the construction quality, the construction progress was rapidly advanced and the control nodes were put in place, and the repair task was completed safely, on time and with high quality, which was highly recognized and evaluated by the ship owner.
