On the morning of February 8th, a jubilant atmosphere filled dining hall No.1 as over 1,600 employees gathered for a grand annual summary and commendation conference for the year 2023. Chairman Zhou Yaguo, CEO Xia Songkang, Vice Presidents Fon He, Wang Junting, Zhou Boting, and Shao Bin were present at this momentous event.

Chairman Zhou Yaguo delivered a significant speech at the conference, expressing New Year greetings and sincere wishes to all employees who have contributed to Xinya’s growth, strived for development, and pursued future success on behalf of the company’s Board of Directors and himself. At the meeting, CEO Xia Songkang delivered a comprehensive work report titled Embarking on a New Journey to a Great Cause: Xinya Capitalizes on Emerging Trends to Achieve Unprecedented Heights in Green Ship Repair’s High-Quality Development. This report succinctly summarized and reviewed the remarkable achievements of Xinya in 2023, highlighting our unwavering determination to forge ahead. Notably, we achieved an all-time high in output value, won the bid and signed the world’s first Maersk container vessel methanol dual fuel retrofit project as well as the luxury cruise “Dream” special inspection project. Furthermore, we successfully completed the state-of-the-art NO96 LNG ship “Pioneer Spirit” and witnessed significant growth in digital transformation through iterative upgrades in Xinya. Additionally, there has been a substantial increase in oil tanker repair services. CEO Xia’s meticulously crafted work report is both pragmatic and inspiring! These accomplishments epitomize the collective efforts of every staff in Xinya while exemplifying our indomitable spirit and courage to conquer new heights.

CEO Xia Songkang emphasized that 2023 is a pivotal and landmark year in Xinya’s development history. The company has firmly grasped the trinity of “Green, Safety, and Digital” work requirements and implemented the Board of Directors’ decision-making with a more urgent, responsible, solid, and refined style. By deepening the structural fine-tuning of ship repair types as the main line of development and accelerating data intelligence innovation to build a new green ship repair development pattern, Xinya constantly promotes and builds a new mode of “Five Dimensions and Experience Feeling”. CEO Xia Songkang pointed out that 2024 marks the consolidation of our company’s “ the Fifth Five-Year Plan”. During the meeting, representatives from Commercial Department, Engineering Management Department and “Three Xin” companies (Xintai, Xinfa, Xinquan), as well as parents who received scholarships for their children delivered speeches on stage respectively.
