General manager Xia Songkang, representatives of ship owner, leaders of safety supervision station of Liuyang town and responsible persons of relevant departments of the company observed the drill in the emergency command center.

General manager Xia Songkang acted as the general commander of the joint emergency rescue drill, manager Liu Junbo of the safety and environment department acted as the drill site commander, Ye Xin of the safety and environment department acted as the site interpreter, firefighters, ambulance personnel, the crew of the ship "Nurkz", the general management team and the production line personnel, a total of more than 60 people participated in the drill. The live drill was connected to the LED display of the Emergency Drill Command Center for real-time broadcast.

The joint drill set up five projects, including personnel evacuation, rescue of injured personnel, fire fighting and rescue, fixed fire fighting on board and fire detection and review. Before the start of the exercise, all personnel in accordance with the development of the emergency drill implementation plan to clarify their respective division of labor and responsibilities, each in their positions.

When the general manager Xia Songkang, the general director of the joint emergency rescue drill, announced "the emergency fire rescue drill in the pump room of Nurkz ship starts now", the combat teams went out urgently, set up the alert, cut off the traffic at the pier, rescue the injured people, put the fire hose into rescue, and carried out the emergency rescue with the crew of Nurkz. The "Nurkz" crew jointly carry out emergency rescue operations, by the multiple common into the battle, finally control the dangerous situation.

The successful exercise of emergency rescue in the simulated tanker pump room fire tested the emergency linkage command mechanism of all departments in case of emergency, exercised and improved the practical ability of rapid response, coordinated operation and emergency disposal of managers at all levels, accumulated practical experience in emergency rescue, comprehensively improved the level of emergency response to emergencies, and further strengthened the safety awareness and responsibility of all staff.
